Texas State Roofing Company Announces Commitment to Resilience by Supporting IBHS’ FORTIFIED Home™ Program.
Texas State Roofing Company announced it has joined in support of the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety’s (IBHS) FORTIFIED Home™ program. Texas State Roofing Company will work to make our communities more resilient by improving the ability of our nation’s homes to resist severe weather by promoting FORTIFIED Home’s voluntary severe storm protection system upgrades. “We are pleased to support FORTIFIED Home..” said JAC Cole, Operations Manager, “… and believe in strengthening our communities. Texas State Roofing Company will continue to demonstrate our commitment to help our customers protect what is priceless. Our experience has shown that when a roofing system is installed with the FORTIFIED requirements, it is not likely to experience any damage during major hurricane events.”
In support of FORTIFIED Home, Texas State Roofing Company will:
- Help spread the word about the importance of resilience to our staff, customers, partners, and community.
- Support FORTIFIED Home by educating homeowners in our community to the advantages available in having a roofing system designed to prevent damage that commonly occurs during high winds and hurricanes.

FORTIFIED Home was introduced by IBHS in 2010 as a voluntary set of home upgrades. Today, FORTIFIED Homes are being built in many of America’s coastal communities.
